Summer Freebies for Kids!

Hey Guys!!! I am in search mode for free/super cheapo things to do this summer with the kiddo. At 7 she is gonna require alot more this summer. LOL Here is what I have found so far:

#1- FREE MOVIES!
Check the list to see if any theaters near you are participating!
Each week starting 6/16 thru 8/11 on Tues, Wed, Thursday at 10AM they will be showing 2 FREE MOVIES for kids and parents!! COMPLETELY FREE!!! No coupons needed!! No hidden fees!!! Check the link below for theaters and the full list of movies . http://www.regmovies.com/nowshowing/familyfilmfestivalschedule.aspx?state=NC

#2- FREE BOWLING
AMF is offering 2 FREE Games EVERY DAY at participating lanes this summer. You do have to pay shoe rentals (or buy some shoes which I am looking into now) and the rental prices vary from location to location.
It does REQUIRE signup thru the link I am putting in. Once signed up and you confirm thru the email they send, they then send out coupons weekly (these coupons CANNOT be copied, they have special numbers on each one that are validated when turned in).
ALSO (lol) at my location they are offering a special pass you can purchase for the *family* that allows you to add 4 people for like 24.00. For that price, each of the 4 listed can also bowl 2 free games per day. Not a bad deal if you want family fun!

  1. Hi Elizabeth,
My name is Sherry and I live just outside Greenville. The Pitt County 4-H is offering several day camps this summer. For a 7yo, there is only 1 free class and that is "Egg Hatching. Participants will learn about Embryology, the study of early development, by learning about eggs and how they hatch. Baby chicks and/or eggs WILL be on hand!" There are others that range in price from $5 to $30. You can call the co-operative extension office for details.

There are others that range in price from $5 to $30 and cover topics from Kayaking to Goat Camp. Call the cooperative extension office for more details 902-1710.

My Little One is a BUG fanatic and LOVES Animal Planet so I am seeing Egg Hatching, Through Butterfly Eyes and Creepy Critters in her future if they haven't filled up yet!
    Thanks again!!
